Compline

An opportunity to wind down and reflect at our closing event for the festival

Experiencing the ancient service of Compline, starting at 6pm on Sun 26 th June, will give everyone the chance to wind down and “be still” and is our closing event for the festival. Compline or Night Prayer is a quiet reflective style service, dating back to the 4 th century, and has always been the last prayers said at the end of the day. In our beautifully lit wonderful Holy Cross church there will be words, music and prayers to help us give thanks and take a time of quiet after a wonderful few days of the AK music festival 2022.
